Session fee covers time, travel and in some cases, post-processing
20-30 portraits presented in a private online gallery to order from
a $50 credit that can go to your print package or album order (pricing below)
The session fee does not include additional images, either digital or printed; these are purchased separately.
All clients pay the session fee to commission Ian Thurston Photography for their portraits, and may then choose their images to be developed from the a la carte price list below or select from a custom-tailored package.
Appointments
All appointments are scheduled on the weekend or evenings, between 8am and 5pm, or early morning and up to 3 hours before sunset if shooting outside under the open sky - times and weather conditions may vary. Pre-shoot appointment can be done at your home or my office.
Clothing & Makeup
Dark colors tend to appear more slimming and neutral colors are usually best, no prints/patterns as it detracts the attention away from the subject. In group photos, clothing should coordinate and not clash.
As a general rule, makeup should be of a natural skin tone, nothing glittery/sparkly unless we covered this in our pre-portrait discussion.
Website Imaging
